Why Your Workouts Shouldn't Stop At The Neck

Face workouts really are are a 'thing' and they are incredibly effective at toning and tightening the 40+ muscles in the face and neck.

Thanks to 'Face Gym' pioneer Inge Theron (a former FT columnist who now has studios in London, NYC and LA),  the popularity of this concept has skyrocketed over the last five years. 

Of course, it makes sense that the muscles of the face and neck need regular movement as much as your body!

Beauty Editors and Journalists have written hundreds of articles backing up the claims that your face workout can leave you looking more toned, less puffy and lifted.  

Even Megan Markle is a fan. “I swear it works,” she said, discussing the benefits of facial exercise with Birchbox back in 2014. “As silly as you may feel. On the days I do it, my cheekbones and jawline are waaaay more sculpted.”

And backed by science, a 2018 study from North Western University in Chicago concluded that 20 weeks of facial exercises would yield firmer skin and fuller cheeks.

That's why I've been inspired to develop my own series of Face Workouts for my One Skin tribe, launching 2nd July 2020.

How do the sessions work?

After selecting your class and checking out online, you will be sent a Zoom appointment link and password as part of your confirmation emails before your session. If you don’t already have Zoom you will need to download the free app to either your mobile, laptop or tablet before your session.

Right before your session we ask that you:
• Thoroughly cleanse your hands with soap and hot water
• Push/ tie back hair from the face
• Remove all makeup and thoroughly cleanse your face
